Registration Instructions

We are pleased to provide the convenience of an on-line registration system called ConfTool.

Establishing a ConfTool Account

If you have attended a CCSC Eastern conference since 2011, you already will have a ConfTool account. You may login using your email address (or ConfTool userid) and password. If you don't remember your password, click on "Forgotten your password?"

If you have not attended a CCSC Eastern conference since 2011, you will need to create an account by clicking on "Create account and register for conference".

Registering for the Conference

Once you have logged into your ConfTool account, click on "Register as Participant".

All conference participants (faculty, students, K-12 educators, programming teams, local vendors) must register on-line.

Registering a Programming Team

There are 6 slots remaining for programming teams.  We are now allowing second teams to sign up, and will stop accepting teams after those 6 slots are taken.  Thanks for you patience since we weren't sure of the demand this year.

An advisor may register their programming team with their full conference registration or teams may be registered independently, but must be accompanied by a registered advisor.

Once logged into the ConfTool account, click on "Register as Participant".  After proceeding to step 2, choose the number of programming teams to register (up to 2).  The number of programming teams in the competition is limited.  The first team from each institution to register up to the limit will be included in the competition.  This is on a first come, first served basis.  If there is capacity, second programming teams may be accepted.

Contest registration is by team, not by individual.  Team registration entitles each student team member (2 or 3 students per team) to attend conference sessions, exhibits and keynotes, and to receive lunch and snacks during the programming contest.  Since Programming Contest Registration does NOT include the banquet on Friday night or Conference Proceedings, extra banquet tickets and proceedings may be added during registration if desired.

Registering a Programming Team After the Adviser has Already Registered

If an advisor has already registered for the full conference, but would like to add a programming team, they must create a second account in ConfTool as changes to an existing registration are not possible at this time.  Programming teams may then be registered without registering for the full conference using that second account.  We apologize for the inconvenience.
